Pastor Randy Ralstin

On January 18, 1987, God led Pastor Randy Ralstin to establish Lighthouse Baptist Church, with the intent of raising up a “Beacon of Hope in a city of darkness”… a soul saving station shining forth the glorious light of the Gospel in the midst of “Sin City” – Reno, Nevada. Over the years, many ministries have been added for the purpose of evangelizing the Truckee-Meadows region as well as the rest of the world.  Beginning with a handful of people in attendance at the first service, Lighthouse Baptist Church now has many families that call it “home.” He has been the Pastor for 35+ years and still has a fresh vision for helping others to know Christ. His vibrant and heart-filled preaching has been an encouragement to all who hear, and his compassion is evident in each of his sermons. He and his wife Carla have faithfully served in the ministry together during their 25+ years of marriage. One of their greatest joys as a couple is the joy of seeing their children serve in various areas of ministry within their church. "God has richly poured out His grace in my life. He saved me at an early age, filled my life with godly mentors and family, allowed me to marry the love of my life and has blessed us with three wonderful children."
